Vision: To have a community where all children are valued, safe and happy.
He Taonga nui a tatou tamariki.
Our children, our future, our responsibility.
Our Mission Statement
To Restore Hope, Build Resilience, Encourage, Empower and Support Children through counselling.
Governance:
ChatBus is governed by a Board of Trustees, who meet monthly, and ensure that policies/procedures are kept current, necessary funds are raised, and that ChatBus continues to maintain excellence in all areas of the organisation.
Committee:
A dedicated committee work hard, raising the necessary funds to keep ChatBus operating.
Raffles, Events, Street Appeal, Grant Applications, Sausage Sizzles, and Special Projects, all keep the committee busy.
Volunteers:
Volunteers have become an important part of ChatBus as the organisation has grown.
There are many ways volunteers can help: stuffing envelopes, at events, on street appeal day, selling raffles, baking for sponsor shouts, manning a BBQ.
If you would like to be a volunteer, please make contact, telling us who you are and how you would like to help.
Funding:
ChatBus is a registered charity and survives thanks to generous donations and grants. Your donations go directly to funding the counsellors working with the children.
